MRAG Asia Pacific approached TXE Contracting to produce 20 stainless steel callipers for their fishing fleet. Predominantly used for Tuna fishing, the callipers must be rust resistant, extremely rugged and able to withstand the rigours of life on board a busy fishing vessel. A quick turn around time was also required given that the fishing season was due to start the following month.
